Looking to connect to the community and give back? The RCAF Family Connection Program aims to support military families experiencing various transitions, such as moving to a new area or going through a deployment-related separation.

Volunteers Needed: Unlimited Qualifications: Ages years. Youth2Youth HPE is a youth-led group with a mission to spark innovative thinking and work in partnership with community leaders to help increase solutions to local problems — identified by youth.

Youth2Youth HPE works with local youth, non-profit organizations, and the broader community to create new resources and improve experiences for youth in HPE so all youth have a chance to succeed. In order to create change for youth, we need them to lead the initiatives that address the issues they care about. We focus on key youth issues that empower youth and encourage them to take a leading role in grassroots change. During the pandemic, we strictly changed our model to meet over Zoom, every other week and the ambassadors have formed groups to work on what is called 'Youth Action Projects.

A lot of Y2Y this year is independent and group work based in regards to these projects. The youth plan, create, and implement their projects with support from a Y2Y staff member over a course of a few months.
